Digital Graphic Transfers (DGT's)
Digital printing describes the process of transferring an image on a personal computer or other digital storage device to a printing substrate by means of a device that accepts text and graphic output. As with other digital processes, information is reduced to binary code, or "digitized," to facilitate its storage and reproduction.
Digital printing is a good alternative to Screen Printing especially if you think you may have a need to add a couple more pieces at a later date (since there are no minimums like there are with Screen Printing) or with an increased number of colors. Also, it is always the better alternative when printing jersey numbers since each jersey is assigned a different number. Screening isn't very efficient when you have to create a new screen for every new and different number.
We are using a state-of-the-art Rolland Printer to prepare our Digital Graphic Transfers. This solution is available at a lower cost alternative to SubliPrint, embroidery and Cut and Sew methods. DGT's provide vibrant colorful logos and multi-color player names and numbers at a reasonable cost.
